Field trip to Burgenland:

08:00: start by bus from the UZA2, Althanstr. 14
Morning: Bernstein im Burgenland
   - exploration of serpentinite (Kanitzriegel)
   - Felsenmuseum in Bernstein (Link)
Lunch break.
Afternoon: either Bergbaumuseum Goberling (antimonite) (Link) or visit of the Castle Schlaining.
Stop for a light meal in a local winery or restaurant.
Evening: arrival at the UZA2 ca. 20:00

Fee: 85.00 (includes bus transportation with English guide, meals, all entrance fees)

Museum visit:

10:00: meeting point (map) at the Natural History Museum Vienna (Link)
Visit of the mineral, gemstone and meteorite collections of the Museum.
Guide: Dr. Vera M. F. Hammer (chief curator of the mineral and gemstone collection, NHM Wien).
12:00: Closure.
